Bon 'John' Phan (born October 10, 1974 in Da Nang, Vietnam) is a Vietnamese-American professional poker player based in Stockton, California[1] who is a two time World Series of Poker bracelet winner[2] and is a winner and four time final tablist of World Poker Tour Championships.
Stockton was an All-Star ten times, and took the Jazz to the playoffs in every one of his 19 years with the team. In the following year’s draft, the Jazz scored Karl Malone, who would become one of basketball’s all-time great players. The Jazz were suddenly, firmly, established in the NBA league as contenders. The mayor of Stockton, California, was arrested Thursday at a youth camp he runs on several charges involving minors, including playing strip poker with one, authorities said.
